Urinals - No longer a problem

The new Aquafree waste fitting

There are millions of urinals throughout the united kingdom which are flushed continuously with valuable water. National shortage has caused an awareness of the need to save water. Energy saving companies are moving from electricity and gas towards water savings for their clients. Aquafree enables urinals to operate without water, saving on average £200 per urinal per annum.

Conventional design allows bacteria to collect on limescale deposits in and around the urinal bowl and crystallised urine salts in the pipe below the waste outlet. This produces malodours some of which cannot be reached by normal cleaning methods. The Aquafree unit simply replaces the existing waste outlet and has a sleeve which fits inside the waste to stop the collection of harmful deposits. Every three months this sleeve is discarded and replaced thus removing the potential odour source.

A fragrant bio-block is contained within the top of the unit. This block contains enzymes which upon contact with urine or water removes organic waste and disperses uric salts naturally. The NOW2000 cleaner reduces the formation of uric salts by a weekly flush-through.
